The Knowledge of Salvation

And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; to give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins.   Luke 1:76 – 77

John the baptist couldn’t afford to mess up. God had to shut the mouth of his father, for one little error would be too grave to be corrected.

The anointing is given for a duty, a project to be done. Once you are filled with the Holy Ghost you exceed yourself – in knowledge, in wisdom, in understanding, in counsel, in might, in the fear of the Lord. The project determines the anointing.
